JUST ANOTHER E-ZINE OR DO WE REALLY HELP
OTHERS?

My goal, as in every other e-zine is to promote many
different products. But I truly do enjoy researching
out all the different items I bring to my subscribers.

As every e-zine publisher, I spend many hours researching,
writing, testing,etc just so I can have an e-zine that is
interesting as well as full of information. You wonder
at times if you have helped anyone at all, or if you
are wasting your time as well as the subscribers time.

It makes it all worthwhile when you receive feedback
from those that have received help in any way from
your efforts.

I received a message the other day that said this
individual had followed my e-zine for a year and has
helped her develop her own e-zine and web site.
Another wrote that he found a color chart that was
very helpful. Another said she was very down and
that the 'Hope is Alive' section was very helpful
for her. Another wrote they especially liked the
'Hope is Alive' section.

I get numerous e-mails with funnies, stories, helpful
hints that individuals send me with 'info for your
newsletter' in the subject line. These are a tremendous
help and gives me the incentive to continue with
the research.

The heart of a marketer is to promote their products -
but the heart of a true marketer is to be of help to others.

Since I have received tremendous help from others on the
web, my goal is to reach out to any and every request I
have. My goal for my web pages are to answer any question
the new beginner may have before they have to start
searching. A little good humor and helpful tips along
the way makes it interesting for everyone.

A smile a day helps the pain go away.

After his death, Osama bin Laden went to heaven.
There he was greeted by George Washington, who proceeded
to slap him across the face and yell at him, "How dare
you try to destroy the nation I helped conceive"?

Patrick Henry approached and punched Osama in the nose
and shouted, "You wanted to end our liberties but you
failed"

James Madison entered, kicked Osama in the crotch and
said, "This is why I allowed our government to provide
for the common defense"

Thomas Jefferson came in and proceeded to beat Osama
many times with a long cane and said, "It was evil men
like you that provided me the inspiration to Pen the
Declaration of Independence"!

These beatings and thrashings continued as John Rudolph,
James Monroe and 66 other early Americans came in and
unleashed their anger on the Muslim terrorist leader.

As Osama lay bleeding and writhing in unbearable pain
an Angel appeared.

Bin Laden wept in pain and said to the Angel, "This
is not what you promised me."


The Angel replied, "I told you there would be 72
Virginians waiting for you in heaven. What did you
think I said"?

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

There was a young woman who had been diagnosed with a terminal
illness and had been given three months to live. As she was getting
her things in order, she contacted her pastor and had him come to
her house to discuss certain aspects of her final wishes. She told
him which hymns she wanted at the service, what scriptures she
would like read, and what outfit she wanted to be buried in.

Everything had been noted, and the pastor was preparing to leave
when the young woman suddenly remembered something very important
to her. "There's one more thing," she said excitedly.

"What's that," came the pastor's reply.

"This is very important," the young woman continued." I want to
be buried with a fork in my right hand." The pastor stood looking
at the young woman, not knowing quite what to say. "That surprises
you, doesn't it?" the young woman asked."

Well, to be honest, I'm puzzled by the request," said the pastor.

The young woman explained. "My grandmother once told me this
story, and from there on out, I have always done so. I have also,
always tried to pass along its message to those I love and those
who are in need of encouragement. In all my years of attending church
socials and potluck dinners, I always remember that when the dishes
of the main course were being cleared, someone would inevitably lean
over and say, 'Keep your fork'. It was my favorite part because I
knew that something better was coming, like velvety chocolate cake or
deep-dish apple pie. Something wonderful and with substance!" So, I
just want people to see me there in that casket with a fork in my
hand and I want them to wonder "What's with the fork?" Then I want
you to tell them, "Keep your fork, the best is yet to come."

The pastor's eyes welled up with tears of joy as he hugged the
young woman good-bye. He knew this would be one of the last times
he would see her before her death, but he also knew that the young
woman had a better grasp of heaven than he did. She had a better
grasp of what heaven would be like than many people twice her age,
with twice as much experience and knowledge. She knew that
something better was coming.

At the funeral, people walked past the young woman's casket, and
they saw the pretty dress she was wearing and the fork placed in
her right hand. Over and over, the pastor heard the question,
"What's with the fork?" Over and over he smiled.

During his message, the pastor told the people of the conversation
he had had with the young woman shortly before she died. He also
told them about the fork and about what it symbolized to her.
The pastor told the people how he could not stop thinking about the
fork and told them that they probably would not be able to stop
thinking about it either. He was right.

So the next time you reach down for your fork, let it remind
you ever so gently, that the best is yet to come. Friends are very
rare jewels, indeed. They make you smile and encourage you to
succeed. They lend an ear, they share a word of praise, and
they always want to open their hearts to us.

Grease spatters or other foods that have dried on the stove,
burner rings, counter appliances, etc. may be removed by
applying dry baking soda to the spots, then rubbing them
with a damp cloth. Rinse with cold water, dry and enjoy the
like-new look.
